Stacking of Lunar or Planetary Video Files
BiggSky can stack video files (SER, AVI), or a sequence of image files of a lunar or planetary target. There are several advantages to the BiggSky functionality compared to other stacking programs:
- Fully automated processing of multiple files
- No need to set Alignment Points
- Eliminates high frequency artifacts often present with other stacking programs
- Eliminates grid artifacts as a result of Drizzle processing
- Can generate multiple Super Resolution results in a single pass
- Can save the aligned/warp-corrected frames as a new SER for review
- Can Stack and Deconvolve in a single process
- Improved deconvolution results due to fewer stacking artifacts
- Can process any sized file (faster if SER/AVI file size is less than half available memory)
- Automatic Frame % determination
